Five tips from Kiwi businesses on how to become B Corp Certified
March 2022 was #BCorpMonth, an opportunity to recognise Aotearoa’s growing community of B Corp certified organisations, and to go behind the scenes to highlight what makes a B Corp a better business – and how they’re doing it.
It’s inspiring to see that Aotearoa is now home to more than 50 certified B Corp organisations (Brightly is a B Corp!), contributing to a global community of 5000 businesses committed to prioritising people, planet and communities.
We achieved B Corp certification in 2020, and while it’s not an easy process, it’s a rewarding one. As part of the B Corp community, we’re happy to share more about our own experience and lessons from the certification process. So, Brightly founder Mike joined B Lab Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand and a number of other B Corp champions for a panel discussion to share more on our own certification journey.
If you’re curious about what it takes to become B Corp certified, or if you’re starting your own journey with measuring your business impact, this webinar has plenty of insight to get you started, and inspiration on how others are creating change through the work they do.
No matter how large or small your business, B Corp certification is a meaningful way to measure your own performance and impact. It helps you set goals, establish measurable policies and consider how you can continue to contribute to creating positive change as part of a wider movement.
We’ve shared more on how to become a B Corporation and B Lab Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand offer plenty of resources to support you on your own journey, however if you’d like to learn more about how B Corp certification is shaping our approach to more sustainable IT, get in touch.
